I came to design from inside the problem. Five years in auto total-loss valuations meant living in the workflows most designers only interview about — so I started fixing them. I built internal tools that cut my call handle time by roughly a third, a VIN lookup that replaced a 600-page manual search, and a document-exchange concept for a five-inbox routing mess.

Then I shipped things publicly: Pee Dee Pet Care, a free local pet-services directory for the Pee Dee region — research, information architecture, user testing, and the discipline to remove features that tested badly.

I design in Figma and build with whatever gets it live. Off the clock, I'm in the garden with my dogs.

Now I'm looking for a product design role in claims tech, insurtech, or workflow SaaS — anywhere the workflow is the product.
